When I was a boy .......

Here we are, second day in Brasil, at Adriana parents home in her birth place Limeira, San Paulo state.

                   

Limeira was city of laranja lima which originated from Asia. Orange lima is very sweet and non-acidic. 

                           


Limeira is 150 km from São Paulo where Adriana~s only daughter Gabriela lives, and 60 km to Campinas where we stay quite often at Adriana aunt and uncle home. Jundiai is where Adriana~s dentist son Rafael lives.

There is no air conditioning in the house, as a matter of fact in most Brazilian homes. Every room has a ceiling fan. I sweat during sleep. Besides the high tech stuffs, it practically reminds me of my boyhood in Hong Kong during the 50s.

This shower head is detachable. Renters have to bring their own shower heads for hot and cold water.

Breakfast

Breakfast - Pão Frances(French bread, most popular), Pão de fórma, Coffee, Butter, Requeijão Cremoso(cream cheese), Mortadela(Bologna), Soy-milk, and cookies.

HOMEMADE LUNCH - Rice, Beans, Potato Croquet, Chuchu(Chayote of cucumber family), Bolinho Arroz(rice), Laranja(Orange) Juice and Watermelon.

As required by law, a fire extinguisher under the passenger seat.

OMG! No air conditioning.
