Coffee break on highway

This is my favorite activity in Brazil, stopping for coffee and snacks on highways.

Frango Assado is my favorite highway restaurant.

When you enter the restaurant, you are given one of this.
Drinks and food ordered will be scanned into your barcode.
Smaller restaurants may give you a paper bill.
At the cashier, your barcode is scanned to get the total purchased.

This is the self serve section.
There is also dining room with service.

Here in Brasil, it is espresso. It usually comes with a shot of gas water and a cookie.

Order your drinks and snacks.

Most of these highway restaurants have no air condition or heater. They are usually very big, accommodating hundred or more customers. There are sections of bakery, local produce, toys, and food stuffs, etc.
They are right on the highway. There is no need to get off highways like in North America.
