Fake goods targeted in Brazil
Chinese 'invasion' of the São Paulo auto show
Chinese automakers are eager for a share of the market in booming developing countries, among them Brazil, which has the potential to become the world's third-largest auto market in five years.
A recent example was "a surprising number" of Chinese brands at the Sao Paulo InternationalAuto Show that started on Oct 24, said foreign media reports.
Of the 30 or so brands on display at the biggest motoring event in South America, seven - JAC,Chery, Great Wall, Chang'an, Haima, Hafei and Jinbei - were from China.
JAC and Chery are the top two Chinese carmakers in Brazil, both with deliveries of more than20,000 vehicles last year.
